The 2024 Hubei Refrigeration Academic Annual Conference and the 45th - Anniversary Celebration of the Society were successfully held in Durkee Industrial Park from November 15th to 16th, 2024. The event was hosted by the Hubei Refrigeration Society and co - organized by 25 companies. More than 400 representatives from over 100 design institutions, colleges and universities, construction and operation & maintenance parties, as well as equipment and material manufacturers attended the conference.

Opening Ceremony

The conference kicked off with an opening ceremony on November 15th at 13:30. Leaders from the Hubei Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Society of Refrigeration, the Hubei Refrigeration Society, and Mr. Lu Biao, Chairman of the Durkee Group, delivered welcome speeches respectively.

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Hubei Refrigeration Society, congratulations and gifts were received from the Chinese Society of Refrigeration, the China Refrigeration and Air - Conditioning Industry Association, the chairmen of the 9th and 10th councils of the Chinese Society of Refrigeration, Academician Jiang Yi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Wang Ruzhu of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and over 20 societies from various province.

Academic Exchanges

Subsequently, the academic exchanges, which lasted for one and a half days, officially began. With the theme of "Scientific and Technological Innovation Boosts High - Quality Development, and Academic Foundation Cultivates Talents in the New Era", this conference focused on cutting - edge issues such as green and low - carbon development and quality and efficiency improvement, gathering elite talents from all sectors within the industry. Professor Li Xianting, vice - chairman of the Chinese Society of Refrigeration and chairman of the International Institute of Refrigeration at Tsinghua University, delivered the keynote speech at the opening: "A Dual-Layer Embedded Pipe Wall Combined with a Water-Air Co-Produced Heat Pump for Air Conditioning and Heating Systems.".

Representatives of the Durkee, presented various benchmarking projects, and the design and application results of the integrated solution for the modular non-rigid air duct system and the composite thermal insulation material.
